It is based on the principle that the human body has energy centers and meridians where this energy flows to provide the human body with a vital life force. Reiki means universal energy; Rei = universal, Ki = energy.

Reiki is a helpful technique for stress management, decreasing anxiety, and increasing levels of energy and self-awareness. It has a restorative effect. One hour of Reiki is equivalent to four hours of sleep. Reiki sessions are 60 minutes.
