Kimia Shahrokhi is a doctoral researcher, Ayurvedic practitioner, and educator whose work bridges integrative medicine and consciousness research, as well as women’s health. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a pre-med focus and a master’s degree in Ayurvedic and Integrative Medicine.
She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Women’s Social Emotional Health and Consciousness and serves as an Associate Researcher at the Center for Social Emotional Health and Consciousness at Maharishi International University. Her research focuses on trauma recovery, meditation, and integrative approaches to resilience and well-being.
Kimia completed her clinical training at Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Eye Hospital and Research Centre in Kerala, India. She now serves as Lead Teaching Assistant for third-year clinical students in the Ayurveda and Integrative Health programs at Maharishi International University, where she supports advanced case analysis and clinical development.
In addition to her academic work, Kimia is the creator and illustrator of the AyurPermaVerse Coloring Book Series, which integrates Ayurveda, permaculture, and botanical science into educational art. She is also co-founder of Ziba Tea, a botanical tea and wellness company dedicated to refined plant-based formulations and intentional craftsmanship. Through Ziba Tea, she blends design, quality sourcing, and community-driven entrepreneurship to create products that bridge tradition with contemporary living.
Her work is guided by a commitment to empowering individuals and cultivating greater coherence in both personal and collective health.
